Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Expected To Launch On January 23: Expected Specs, Price

Just like its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch in January. While the S24 series debuted on January 17, the new lineup could arrive a few days later, according to recent reports. Due to time zone differences, the global launch might occur a day before the official release in South Korea.

According to South Korean outlet FNNews, the Galaxy S25 series is set to launch on January 23, while trusted tipster Max Jambor suggests the release will occur on January 22, reflecting the time zone difference mentioned earlier. As for the venue, the global launch may take place in California, following the pattern of previous events—San Jose for the Galaxy S24 series and San Francisco for the S23 series.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Expected Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to come in three main models: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Galaxy S25 will likely feature a 6.17-inch screen, the S25 Plus could have a 6.7-inch display, and the S25 Ultra may sport a 6.9-inch panel. There are also rumors of a Galaxy S25 Slim edition, which may launch in April with a 6.55-inch display, a thinner profile, and potentially a single camera, though it could feature high-end optics similar to the Ultra model.

The Galaxy S25 series will run on Android 15-based One UI 7. All three variants are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, with the possibility of a custom Snapdragon variant for Samsung’s Galaxy models. This chipset will likely offer improved performance and efficiency, setting the series apart from other devices on the market.

In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus could come in new color options such as Sparkling Blue and Sparkling Green, in addition to Pink Gold, Coral Red, and Blue/Black. The Ultra variant may feature more premium color options like Titanium Pink/Silver, Titanium Blue/Black, and Titanium Jade Green. The colors and configurations suggest that Samsung is focusing on offering a range of choices for different preferences within the Galaxy S25 lineup.
