Hollywood actor Kal Penn, known for his role in the show House, and the Harold & Kumar film series, recently visited the set of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), one of India’s longest-running and most-watched TV shows. Penn’s visit made headlines, and fans were excited to see him interact with the cast of the show, which includes actors like Dilip Joshi, Munmun Dutta, and others.

He wrote a note about his visit, saying, “Looking at an apartment in Gokuldham Society with some new friends.” He also shared some fun trivia about TMKOC, mentioning that the show is one of the most-watched television programs in the world, with over 40 million viewers tuning in for each episode. The show has been on the air for over a decade, and has aired more than 4,300 episodes, making it India’s longest-running scripted TV show.
Meanwhile, fans were excited about the crossover. The comments section of social media posts was filled with reactions, with many fans expressing their happiness at seeing the two worlds collide. Actress Richa Chadha commented, calling it “the crossover I didn’t know I needed.” Others joked about the possibility of Penn opening a White Castle in Gokuldham Society, or even having Jethalal join the American political drama, Designated Survivor.
