Apple CEO Tim Cook has revealed his favourite AI tool that helps him save up his time. As told to Wall Street Journal Magazine, he starts his day early, between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., by checking his iPhone for new emails and sales updates.
For years, Cook personally read through every message, including customer feedback. This was no small feat, given that the billionaire receives around 800 emails daily.

“If I can save time in small moments, it adds up significantly over a day, a week, or a month,” Cook explained. Even before Apple Intelligence became available on iOS devices on October 28, Cook noted that it had already transformed his productivity and daily routines.
“It’s truly changed my life,” he emphasised. “It really has.”
Not just the Apple CEO, Mark Cuban, a renowned billionaire entrepreneur and investor, is also using AI tools to improve his productivity. He has adopted Gemini, Google’s generative AI assistant, to streamline his email management. As per CNBC Make It, he receives a massive volume of emails daily, many of which are repetitive. To tackle this, he leverages Gemini’s suggested email reply feature in Gmail, which has significantly reduced the time he spends on routine replies. By quickly evaluating and sending these AI-generated responses, Cuban saves considerable time and effort.
He said, “It’s reduced the need for me to write out routine replies. I can spend 30 seconds evaluating its response and hit ‘send’ versus typing it all out myself.”

By delegating routine email tasks to AI, Cuban is left with a lot of time to focus on strategic initiatives, enhancing his leadership effectiveness.
He further revealed that AI has also positively impacted his personal life. He utilizes generative AI tools to assist with his children’s homework, proofreading for spelling and grammar errors. This not only aids him as a parent but also helps ensure his children’s academic integrity by detecting potential AI-generated content.
